1. All participants will do their utmost to raise £ 50 (or more) for Cancer Research UK.
  2. The entry fee for the event is £ 5,-.
  3. TumbleUp4Life is not a race.
  4. Only 15 climbs will be registered for each participant. The TumbleUp4Life starts at 05.00 AM. The cut off time for the start of the last climb in Llanfoist is 08.00 PM.
  5. Helmets must be worn by all cyclists in this event.
  6. All participants participate in this event entirely at their own risk, and must rely on their own ability in dealing with all hazards, and  must ride/run in a manner which is safe to themselves and others. Participants agree that no liability whatsoever shall attach to the promoter, promoting club/organisation, event sponsor, or any event official or member of the promoting club/organisation in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by the participant in or by reason of the event however caused. Participants will participate in a loyal and sporting manner.
  7. The minimum age for participants is 8 years. A parent, guardian or responsible adult must accompany participants under the age of 18 at all times.
  8. All participants must adhere to and obey the Highway Code and laws of Wales, including the lighting requirements.
  9. All cyclists in a group must ride in an orderly manner in accordance with the law relating to road travel, not more than two abreast, and extend all reasonable courtesy to other road users.
  10. It is advised that all participants must carry a form of identification showing their name, address and contact details of person to be advised in the eventuality of an accident. It is also advised that all participants carry enough food, drink, money, mobile phone, as well as extra clothing to complete the ride/run being undertaken, taking into account the route and possible adverse weather conditions. Cyclists are advised to carry spare inner tubes and a working pump.
  11. Cycling and running are very popular activities, in which the contact with nature is fundamental. Participants will not throw anything on the roads (paper, wrap, bottles….): the natural environment must be preserved and the longevity of the TumbleUp4Life depends on this. Trash bags will be available at controls and stations where participants can dispose of empty bottles, wrappers etc. We all give the environment the respect it deserves.
  12. Participants agree to any use of their images in print, photographs, film, video and such like for promotional purposes of the TumbleUp4Life without payment.
  13. And finally: Mind the sheep !!!
